Organised by SYBRG in conjunction with Jon Dallow and Joan Jones ![]() The guided walk through Ecclesall Woods will visit some of the sites that Mel talked and wrote about in his work on Sheffield's Woodland Heritage - including experimental coppice areas, the wood collier's grave, woodbanks and old trackways. There will be the opportunity to see the displays and bookstall which will be running across the weekend before the walk starts. The walk will start from the Discovery Centre, 260 Abbey Lane, Sheffield S7 2QZ, S11 9NW. Tickets are £6.00 from Bookwhen. Please dress appropriately for the outdoor weather conditions and bring your own refreshments or purchase from the cafe on site.
