Insurance for Litter Pick Groups

We have been told that our May 2012 Litter Pick is the last for which Sheffield City Council will provide insurance cover. We have therefore investigated the market and found that the following insurance companies offer Public Liability Insurance. We will investigate them further before our next (Summer) litter pick.

Note that the above policies may not offer the same degree of protection. For example some policies exclude Volunteers.

Also note that some people already have insurance for their house or contents, which may cover them for public liability while litter picking.
